This is the original short film that launched the whole idea. It was done as part of a Super8 film class. One of the big lessons in the class was to not fight the medium, but to embrace its idiosyncrasies. Sync-sound is difficult in an edited Super8 film… and that inspired doing this thing as a silent film. The silent-film treatment inspired one of the best jokes in the whole piece.
